About Me

John Taberman-Pichler

I qualified from the European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone, England in 1988, in 2008 completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Chiropractic Techniques and in 2010 fulfilled the requirements of the Osteopathy Board of Australia to be registered as a Doctor of Osteopathy.

Immediately after qualifying as an Osteopath I commenced training with the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) - passing the ICAK exam of Clinical Competence in 1990 (being the 6th person in Europe to do so). As well as my Osteopathic, Chiropractic techniques and Professional Applied Kinesiology training I have also studied and trained in many other approaches and techniques, including being one of the first Osteopaths in the UK to have studied both Cranial Laser Reflex Technique and Primal Reflex Release Technique.

My work has been featured in ‘The Times’, 'Daily Mail’ and 'Daily Express' as well as having been on radio and television. I am often asked to visit colleagues practices in the UK and Europe to help/treat/offer advice to patients with difficult to treat problems. Also, because of my close proximity to Gatwick airport I often have people from the UK, Ireland and the rest of Europe flying in for treatment.

I am passionate about learning and spend many hours / days attending post-graduate courses both in this country and around the world. I also run my own series of post graduate lectures.

Away from the office I play bass in a professional band (www.malf.co.uk) having regular gigs up and down the UK as well as in Europe. We will be entering the studios to record our second album later on in 2012.
